    Cessna 335 Aircraft Information

Produced from 1971 to 1984, 1351 Cessna 340s were built. Variant models include the 340, 340A, 335, Riley Jet Prop 340, Riley Rocket 340, and Riley Super 340. The Cessna 335 is an unpressurized version of the 340. The 335 was less expensive and less successful than the 340. The 340 was developed as a cabin-class version of the Cessna 310. A primary selling feature of the aircraft was its spacious, pressurized cabin, the first in a light twin. The wings were based on the Cessna 414, while its tail and landing gear were from the Cessna 310.
