    Aero L-29 Delfin Warbirds

    The Aero L-29 Delfin is a military trainer aircraft. It seats an instructor and a student. An aerobatic model named the L-29A Akrobat was developed along with a reconnaissance model with cameras mounted in the nose and was named the L-29R. The student and instructor are both equipped with ejector seats in a tandem position with separate canopies. Though no longer in production, 3,500 of the aircraft were built between 1963 and 1974. The empty weight of the aircraft is 5,027 lbs and the maximum takeoff weight is 7,804 lbs. The maximum speed is 442 kts and the stall speed is 71 kts.
